| We had a great beach day.
It started abit late as we were kinda late and it we were behind our
schedule by half an hour. Other set backs like missing cars in a
convoy... haha we were all suppose to follow me in the lead vehicle and
somebody along the convoy decided to go another way and all the rest of
the cars followed her and got lost! haha well lesson for me is to brief
all drivers before leaving.
well apart from that, the beach was
also packed. and the sand quality not so good... sigh. partly due to
Labour Day on Monday, everyone seems to be heading to the beaches to
enjoy their long weekend... so ended up being really packed in a small
part of the beach. On hind sight, a recce is always the best move.. but
i guess everything is always better in hind sight. haha
everyone
had gd comments tho. However im sure there will be many improvements
and all... ahh if only we could sit down to cover all the bases like
how we do it in spore... hahah oh wells=)
Weather was beautiful
except that i forgot to splash on sun screen and got sun burnt,... now
my body has like 2-3 shades of tan skin colour!!?? haha man.. like
zebra man...
we had games and free time and those were really
fun! i think this is definetly worth a program to have again soon!!
haha and i think captain ball is also a fun game to have cos everyone
seems to be enjoying it!
oh well im pretty tired and i really
only discovered how tired i was only after we were in the car on the
way home... but happy too of course. hahah
Thank you God for great weather Thank you God for good fellowship and a chance to know some new pple Thank you God for providing journey's mercy Thank you God for a day of fun at the beach=)

| I know i havnt exactly been updating all that much. Truth is, i have been rather busy this period of time.
Orientation has been the mian reason for all my busyness... and this year, im really going all out to draw more pple to CCM (Campus Christian Movement, the student arm of my church) I thank God for having met such a great number of international students this semester. And quite a fair bit of them come from Singapore too! Haha kakis to talk cock with! anyways, we have met up and i think we are getting to be closer during this few weeks thru dinner sessions and badminton games on Thur=)
However, some of them arnt christians and i am really praying to be able to share God's word with them. Just hope they dont just slam the door shut on God. Am praying for wisdom and also for opportunities=)
But there are a few who have really encouraged me. I prayed to God for someone who could share the burden and passion for this student ministry here in Frankston and i thank God that He indeed has been faithful and has provided one! Hopefully, we can really start things rolling=)
Recently, invited some contacts to an Amazing Race which was held in thr Clayton campus. It was a great race and i must say that it was really enjoyable even though half the time i was runnng around like a headless chicken cos i hardly come to this campus at all. Didnt help that it was abt the size of NTU!?! haha but we still managed to come out a respectable 8th out of 14 teams=) Here are some pics of my team=) Me not in cos i was of cos the photographer and also the team facilitator cum co conspirator! haha
We are called to be the salt and light of the world!
Trying to look dao. World's greatest talents!
Official Boat Launching of the Frankston Ferry service!
This is my new shelf. I think it helps to keep all the loose papers from lying everywhere=)

| Its a new beginning. I always am
hopeful at the start of semester. Ever since i found what i love in
life, i have been looking forward to school. Those super wonderful days
in SPE, where it was never just study for me, i always looked forward
to classes. Even the projects and all were not so bad. Wasnt so crazy
about the exams and of course all those dull educational modules ... my
classmates of course made it special. I mean its hard not to feel happy
when almost everyone around you is super on about sports and all..
hhaha and there were so many things to learn and play! ahhh...
dan there was this degree which started out as a part study part wrok
commitment. Even though it was tough balancing both work and study, i
always looked forward to the 3 hour session once a week at night. Not
so much for the lesson, the lecturers were always sub standard and save
for one, the others were a complete waste of my money. it was the
friends, a handful of us who were like bonded together against the
horrors of how the course was being run, who had a common struggle to
overcome crazy assignments and deadlines. Yet, even though we met each
other only briefly once a week, we still managed to go rock climbing, a
hike to beautiful Kota Tingi waterfalls, snow boarding, ahh how i wish
they were here in Aust with me.
the new semester is here. And with it come new faces, new friends and
hopefully some kakis i can jio who will be as "ons" as my peers before.
The modules this sem are as usual fun and im really excited to learn
all about adventure education and the social aspects of sport and all.
its going to be super fun ... but of course it would be extra super
duper fun if i had the friends to go along with it=)
